Never really new what moosing was until now or at least I think this is it. I am getting a really loud hum on start-up usually when it is cold and sometimes when warm. It has just started to do it while at high speeds(65-80mph) I wasn't aware of this happening when you only change plug wires. I have a Y2K SVT with a drop in K&N filter. Could this "moosing" be caused by plugs being in the wrong order or is it just a common problem with this change?
Please help! I searched for this but couldn't find anything for moosing with a plug wire change.

Thanks!!!

it has nothing to do w/your plugs or wires. its caused by your intake tube. i had mine replaced by the dealer under warranty and it still does it. there's a how to on how to fix it if you do a search for it. i would do it but i dont want to put that much effort into something that happens rarely. plus if you rev up the motor it goes away for the time being. once the motors warm it shouldnt do it anymore or not as much

Oh yeah the contour almost cut off this morning after the first couple of "moosings"! Rough idle and throttle!
