ok - so my setup at home is the following:
Denon AVR-1803
5.1 setup
JBL S-38II Fronts
JBL S-CenterII Center
JBL N24 Rears (just coulndn't go with the 17" S26s)
Sony SA-WM40 subwoofer
Panasonic 36" Tube (800 lines res) non-HDTV
APEX AD-660 DVD (bleh! but it plays everything!)
DishNetwork 510 PVR
Overall, I'm rather pleased with the setup...
My room is EXTREMELY open unfortunately, 20 ft high vaulted ceiling, about 18x40
Surprisingly, the setup still scares the hell out of my cat during big scenes so I'm pretty happy with it...
