From Mc Mastercarr. got it today. From what I can see the tensile strength is 2 times what 80 shore A is. I can't wait to fill my roll restrictors with this stuff! Crazy stiff is what I hear. Bout to see how many ft. lbs I can drop!

Be prepeard for a lot more NVH...espically through the steerign wheel. Interior panels will begin to vibrate. I filled my rear mount about a month ago with the same stuff and I have noting bad to about it, that is if you don't mind the added NVH like I do.

An added bonus is zero wheel hop.

You'll really like it, I filled my top tranny mount and even though I didn't fill it good, and it's just 3M stuff, it has all but killed my wheel hop. When I eventually get something else to drive while I work on the 'tour, all my mounts are getting filled.

NVH is vibration harmonics that are transferred through the chassis to various body parts. I forget, what is the exact definition?

Anyways, I am ready to fill the front motor mount with this urethane. When i filled it with roof and flashing urethane I noticed awesome launching when turning the O/D off and accelerating on the highway. That is, until the crappy Home Depot urethane deteriorated away, shrunk, and returned my mount to original conditions.

I am thinking that if I only fill the front mount and keep the rear mount stock, then there will be less vibration and around 90% torque gains compared to filling both mounts. It has been said here that the front mount makes the most difference when filling with urethane. At 24 dollars, Mc Mastercarr has to be the best bet for filling mounts. You have to let the urethane cure for 2 days before use though.
I will have positive proof on Monday of next week. Until then, ROCK ON CEG!!!!

NVH = Noise, Vibration, Harshness

The hardest part is getting the mounts out and back in. The poly also takes about a day and 1/2 to fully dry. After filling my top tranny mount wheelhop was noticably improved/cured. Unfortunately I didn't do the other mounts and the rear mount was squashed to nothing in about a month. If your filling the mounts, I think it's best to do all of them.

It probably is best to do them all. I think I should have done my front one, but maybe just svt mount w/ insert would be better off to use there. But every little bit helps.
