The pics are great and details are very close to what a stateside Mondeo, er Contour owner would experience.
Go with the Ford OEM t'stat and temp sending unit. My guage read "hot" when it fact it wasn't. Now guage reads "straight up". I initially used Napa parts. Guage read almost into the red. Ohm meter on the temp sending unit showed a huge difference when compared to the Ford OEM part (hence accurate guage reading).
