ToddTCE has a good reputation here. Never read anything bad about that kit, and plenty of good. No personal experience, though.

Try searching his username or for "TCE" in the brakes forum.

If I knew more, I'd tell you.

Best I can tell you is that it's a slow mover with folks doing up bigger wheels and the current options of the FSL and BSL6 calipers. The NDL is akin the the Dynalites if BAT and others on a different mount and using my hat/rotor package.

If you have wheel room the other caliper as better products, but if you run the stock wheels or are on a budget this is still much better than the stock set ups. And if you like, later you can do alternate calipers or rotor sizes with the basics of the kit.

Happy bidding.

Todd, will the Focus SVT wheels clear your 13 inch kits? And is the 13' overkill vs the 12.2 on a daily driver (weekend auto x)
Thanks

Yowsa, too many questions!

There is only ONE of the ebay specials. The NDL will still be available, but given its very close to the BAT part but with two piece rotors and the newer FSL/BSL6 is a better caliper the base kits will be streamlined a bit. Just biz, I'll still do whatever someone wants.

Wheels? The Focus SVT wheel clears the 13s as far as I know, (did not have one in the sho) as nobody as called yelling at me about it who has one. I can supply the thin spacer kit too if need be.

As for 12.2 vs 13.0, the larger rotor will offer a bit more leverage in the equation, but for a daily driver you'd not 'feel' the difference. For a track use day the large one will also add some valuable mass to the front for better heat management. Again for a daily driver you'd not know the difference.

Keep in mind that total torque is limited to tire lock up. Larger rotors mean less pedal pressure needed, or ultra pads mean less pedal, or massive pistons mean less pedal, etc. etc. It's all about how you get there and a modest input of them all to form the final result.

As a side note; large rotors, 'race pads' and too much piston will reduce the effectiveness of the rear brakes too. Huh? The added parts up front mean less pressure is required so the line pressure to the rears goes down also...
