I found a 98 contour SE automatic. How hard would it be to take the motor,tranny,wiring,ecu, and everything needed and do a motor swap into at 98 tour se.

if the tour you found is a duratec, most here seem to believe a 3L swap is better for the money/performance side.

Why the hell would you want to punish an SVT engine by mating it to a slushbox...


2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

i believe he said motor, tranny, wiring, and ecu swap. so im guessing he has a mtx from the donor svt.

i think the motor tranny and wires drop right in but i heard you have to get the ecu reflashed because of the pats system.
