I too am appalled at this. One of the most storied cars in history is getting a Truck engine with a SC slapped on it, they will call this beast the Ford GT-40.
FI sure is a cheap way to get HP and when your buying turbos by the ten thousand you can get a pretty darn good return on your money from the buying public.
We need more cars that take egineering to the next level. The S2000 and NSX have great engines! Looking at the Euro-exotics as well.
America loves its big Iron and the younger buyers are screaming for forced induction.
Oh well, for 2003 the SVT Expedition with Soccer mom's will be blazing paths on the Hwy soon enough :rolleyes:
