I had a problem in which my blower switch didn't work on high. I took it to Ford and they said they could replace the blower switch, if that was the problem, because it was under recall. But the blower motor expires after 10 years or 100,000 miles or something like that. Luckily, it was the blower switch and Ford fixed it for free.

I had the exact same problem after my engine pull. It seemed a wire ty broke and allowed the compressor wiring to short out against the front exhaust manifold when I turned on the AC or DEF. Look at the front of the car, near the radiator fan wiring to make sure everything has proper clearance.

I presume it was f37 30 amp you replaced on the interior fuse panel. This fuse also feeds the a/c control circuits, including the the a/c compressor clutch.

Pull the a/c clutch relay(r4, yellow) in the engine compartment fuse box as a quick & easy means of isolating part of the circuit, then see if blower works without fuse blowing.
