MY 3L hybrid ownt idle. im running 2.5 P&P heads and 24# injectors on SE computer. my car wont idle. i can idle it at around 1500 but nething under it wants to stall. am i running too rich??? TIA

i would say so, try the stock injectors and see if it will idle, but dont rev it, 17# injectors are too small

24lb injectors on a 17lb PCM program.

Yes it would be running extremely rich.


I agree swapping to the 17lbers would be a good idea for troubleshooting.

I also agree that they won't like going past 5000rpm under load either.

24# injector ran fine on my '99 SE PCM, even without the MAF calibrator. It was rich, but it idled just fine.

I'm running my 17's in mine (granted, they flowed around 18.5 @ 35 PSI) and I haven't had it run lean yet. And that's running stock 95 PCM. Actually, she's running WAY rich. So much that I change the oil and within 500 miles, I've got an extra half quart of oil . Getting tuning done tomorrow hopefully.

Wow! On my 3L hybrid swap, even before the exhaust and intake upgrades, the 17's went static around 4,000 RPMs!!! Talk about lean!!!
