Anyone ever test drive one of the 2003.5 Mazda Speed Protege? Are they quick as they look or are they a terd. Since i have rolled my SVT i have been looking at different cars i can get. The Mazda Speed Protege,Mazda6 s,Mazda6 i,Mazda Protege5,Neon SRT-4,
Lancer EVO.8,Subaru WRX,Subaru RalliSport,Toyota CorolaS and the Focus SVT. I don't know wut to get any suggestions?
I want something quick,sporty,has a little style and comfort.

I think it's a nice car, but 170 hp just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Out of those you have listed i'd get a EVO or the STI or even the WRX. If your low on cash then the SVT focus and neons SRT-4 are my pics. I also really like the Mazda 6 cuz it reminds me of the contour alot.

I think you need to rethink your list. If you're putting the EVO on the same list as a Mazdaspeed Protege something is wrong with you. Most of the cars you listed serve completely different purposes and are in entirly different price ranges.

Do you seriously have a toyota corolla S on that list? It's slower than a 1996 Ford Contour Zetec ATX. I'd go with the srt-4 or the wrx, just depending on what you want outta a car.

I test drove the EVO. 8,Mazda6 s and the Focus SVT and the EVO8 is fast as hell, very impressive take off 0-60 is quick.Very stylish car,one of a kind impressive to drive. I like the Mazda 6s it has good HP and handles beautfully, yes it is like driving a cross between an SVT Tour and a SHO Taurus. Now the Focus SVT is ok, nuttin like the SVT Tour, it has ok take-off,with some modds,(turbo) it could be better, but the handling is really really good and the seats are comfortable.
I think once i get my $$$ for my SVT imma pay some bills off and pay on my other car and pay it off and trade it in.
Imma go test drive an SRT-4 tomorrow. I am mainly looking for something with power,comfort,and style.

Ok anyone knoe the Specs on the Nissan SER Spec-V, Nissan's site isnt workin due to they are getting sued.

I believe it's 175hp/180 ft lb torque 6speed tranny. But try this site for info: http://www.infinitihelp.com/ I really like my friend's spec-v and his a lotta potential, and as long as it doesn't blow another engine, I think it's pretty reliable.
