Well... Ok heres the problem..

Im at a stop light... Civic rolls up next to me, i'm like sup biotch? And the light goes green, he takes off, im laughing my ass off... I go to gas it, WROOOOOOOM WROOOOOOOOOOOOOM Souns like my engines winding up to BLOW UP

Doesn't move... So I think im in neutral, I look down, IM IN DRIVE HOLY [censored]!!!!!!!

1st gears fine, Drives perfectly
2nd gear is fine, drives perfectly
Drive..... If you give it little gas, its fine
If you go WOT it just sits and revs at you....

Any ideas? Overdrive band shot? How much we talking? How long will I be outa comission??!?!!

Check your ATX Oil level.

It was JUST in for servicing too is the funny thing... It's at the ford dealership right now.

I took my friend out in it and she works for a dealership and deals with this [censored] all the time, she seemed to think my car just wont downshift, that its stuck in 3rd when im in drive... Or like stuck in a gear...

Sounds like shift linkage. The shifter might not be fully into the right position when you shift to drive and therefore it is leaking oil pressure.

did the car move at all? i doubt this would be it, but i had a simiar problem.
when accelerating normally, the car was fine, but when i would have to punch the gas, it would rev and wouldn't go anywhere, as it turns out i had totally demolished one or more of my cats (broke all the goodies inside).
just a thought.

According to FORD, and they said this WIHTOUT OPENING THE TRANNY..

I Broke open the Clutch Packs, and Fried up all the Tranny Fluid... Supposedly the Syncros are [censored] and I need a new tranny...

They have had my car for a week and still have yet to take my tranny out and talk to my warranty place... They drove the car said yeah its [censored], and were spose to open up th tranny friday but never did.

And they wont open it if they don't have to. Most dealers will simply replace the tranny with a reman, because the cost of repairing one can quickly cost more than installing a reman.

If they can convince your "warrenty place" that the tranny is shot, they will give them an estimate for as many hard parts as possible. That way the cost of parts is so high, that when you throw labor charges in there... Sky High!!

If they will put a reman in there, then let'em.

Oh yeah, ATXs don't have syncro's.
