I am with the peps liking the color, but thats about it.

The roof opening is called a "ragtop". It was an option on old VW Bugs/Beetles from the late 50's and early sixties.

The rear panel actually looks like it was filled before painting.

I don't see why so many people think this is gross? Just cause it's slammed on bags with chrome wheels?? The thing is clean, nothing to break up the lines on the side, no graphics. the wheels are chrome yeah, so they're big and heavy but this obviously isn't a car meant to go on the track anyway. I think the wheels are actually fairly tasteful compared to some of the chrome creations out there. I bet if this got raised to a more usable height, and maybe the wheels were changed people would be talkin about how sweet it was, with maybe some comments about adding skirts and changing up the tails a bit. I personally think it's a pretty ncie car, and it's show cars that are going to get us noticed by the aftermarket anyway.

Now, it's not really my style, except for the bags, but I definitely acknowledge the time/money/effot that went into it and it's definitely a worthy competitor in shows.
