I don't have to know anything about brakes to recognize a misattribution of causality.

And such misattributions, when stated as fact, are not helpful.

And if your point was that your new brakes worked really well, you chose an odd way of saying it. In fact, there really is no other way to read what you wrote than that you are attributing "cooler brakes" (which you can't possibly know) to holes in your rotors. In fact, you do it again when you say "The holes release gas allowing for better braking...they improved the braking power dramatically." You follow this with "The combo of the rotors and brake pads for all those who want to question what I meant."

Well, I make no claims, but the fact is, apparently, some people do know more than you. There's nothing wrong with that. A lot of people know more than me, or do certain things better than me. I don't get asked to sing at weddings, or play baseball for the Yankees, but it doesn't really break me up, and I don't start fights about it.
