95 Contour GL 2.0L - pretty sure the previous owner had the fuel tank recall done.
I've noticed for the past couple months that when I fill up with gas, the fuel gauge takes longer than normal to move to Full.
I've done a bunch of searching both here and in the archives and didn't see anyone that had a similar problem (most people had erratic readings on the way down to empty and not the other way around).
I recently replaced the fuel filter (figured it was probably due for that anyway) to see if that'd change things, but I'm still having the problem.
I also took the gauge cluster off to see if there were any noticable problems with the gauge. None that I could see, the needle moved smoothly, but the problem still exists.
I noticed in those other threads that fuel sending unit was recommended as the required fix.
Any ideas on what my problem could be?
