I've been using Kazaalite for a long time now. But is it really completely anonymous? It seems like they would still be able to trace your IP somehow?

Thanks for the heads up ...
I went one better and threw my laptop out. That will keep me safe from the RIAA !!
You threw it out ? they will find it and trace it back to you quick.... Not to worry just go grab it back from the trash and and PM me because I would be willing to dispose of your laptop in a way that the RIAA will never be able to trace back to you
Nah .... I popped all the keys off the keyboard and scratched my name off the lid. Me smarter than the RIAA !!!!

Just move your music out of the shared folder then put some pics in there. You can't get in trouble for having pics. People don't like it when you don't share. I've been cut off because I wasn't sharing.

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!

Nothing on the internet where you are connecting to anything else can be completely anonymous. if you are connecting thru an anonymous proxy it will be better but almost nobody does that and even then you have to worry about the people that have the proxy because they could be tracing what you do.
If you want to be completely anonymous you would have to buy some of those dialup ISP minute cards that staples sells (with cash) then never call from any number that can be traced back to yourself (never from your home phone or a hotel that you are staying at) you would have to call from pay phones. You would then want to chain multiple anonymous proxys together. Also make sure that there is no personal information registering your programs on that computer and have a good personal firewall.
In other words living a completely anonymous online life would be a real pain in the ass.
Kazza lite is better than kazza and they try to keep you more anonymous than kazza and they block some known RIAA ip's from accessing your shared folder (if you install one program that is an option) but it is still not completely anonymous.

Everything I've got in my shared folder is non-label stuff. I.e. taped shows or demos.
But I've got over 3000 tracks *elsewhere* on my drive.

Yea that's what more like what I thought, I do keep stuff in "My shared Folder" But I don't share anything so I think i'm fine. And I really don't download much either.
