I agree on that one. I have also heard of a few KKMs imploding at high rpms so be careful of that I guess.

I have no other mods. I just bought the car on Sunday with 60k miles. It's in great shape. I chose the KKM due to good reviews over it and the guy at spmotorsports told me it was a good choice. I just thought the superchip is the next best thing. I am a former ricer so I'm just getting into the swing of things with these cars, but I do love the car. Much better than my civic I have.

I'd cancel the superchip before they ship it. Where did you order it from?

Bro..cancell the chip ASAP. Its a real generic chip that isn't needed right now with your mods. Improve your intake, then exhaust, then get into optimizing your TB and stock Y-pipe. And...do a full tune-up right away. 60,000 miles ain't that much...but you need to think about how many heat cycles your plugs/wires/tranny oil/etc have seen. You'd be amazed at just how much a difference new plugs/wires/fuel filter and redline MTL in your tranny will make. Then throw in some Mobil-1 (yes...I'm trying to restart that thread ;-) and a Motorcraft filter..you're golden.
Here's a list of less than worthwhile mods (please feel free to add)
Superchip (or Diablo) Pro-M MAF Bigger TB (65mm and up) Bosch +4 plugs "Ram Air" intake

Everything in the list is right but the plugs. Use Autolite Double Plat plugs like most of us with duratec's use...

im thinking he is being sarcastic.
superchip is generic, a custom chip from streetflight is the best option. pro-m MAFs are known for not working right anything over 65mm is WAY too big for a N/A duratec (my 3L is only getting a 65mm)
bosch +4 plugs are total crap
and "ram air", i wont even comment about that

Skip the Superchip and go buy a couple cans of Berrymans B-12 chemtool (either the spray or pour in), some wire brushes and pipe cleaners, and then take your intake manifolds off and clean them up real nice
While you're at it, change your plugs. Switch to Mobil 1 oil, install a new fuel filter, and then:
Open intake (you mentioned KKM, that'll work) Optimize your y=pipe and change the restrictive resonator OR new catback and y-pipe if you have the $$$ (even better yet - true duals) Headers if you have the $$$
THEN
Go get a custom burned chip. Doing it in that order will ensure that you get maximum power from each modification. And you'll get even more power out of the chip since it will take advantage of all the other mods
Yeah I learned all this over months of reading up here, but I'm feeling nice and thought I'd make it easier for the new guy.
Good luck!
