Okay - so I've searched and come up empty.

Can I trouble anyone to point me towards any sound clips of this system?

Since a turbo does have some muffling qualities on it's own, I'm curious what the actual noise level/character ends up being. I'd also like to hear what kind of catback setup people have ended up running and how it compares to the loudness of different setups on non-turboed contiques.

For example, I used to have the Sho y-pipe, and *hated* the drone. In fact, I ended up cutting the head pipes off of it and used them as the basis for the bubba duals. Cabin drone went way down after that, but the car still emits a fairly healthy tone. In a twisted way, I'm trying to justify at least part of the cost of the turbo as a means to allow me to go to a quieter setup without losing the torque I picked up from the duals.

I've had and been around a number of exhaust setups on these cars, so any comparisons would be helpful.

Thanks!
Dan

The turbo setup with a high flow cat, and the 3" Yo-Dude with a Magnaflow is harmonious! It sounds so tuned that it's almost ridiculous. My buddy with a BB Nova(sick) thinks my car sounds perfect.

Now it's not fast enough for him. He wants a Z06.

I'll trade you SVT's then. And I'll give you my brother, too.

I love my car....I just realize that it "may" be time to move on. I'll only sell to an enthusiast though...

Is wanting a ZO6 a bad thing? I've been a Corvette lover since before I could walk as my dad has owned over a dozen of them(mostly Sting Rays, and a 58'). Now I want to be the one who makes him hold on to the dash handle while he's pooing himself!

He misses his last one...a matching # 66' 427BB vert. He loves the convertible, but understands how I could want o ZO6.

Thanks for the threadjack, you dillholes!

Seriously, I appreciate the feedback wavrdr - but you didn't say how loud the setup ended up being. I appreciate a bitchen note as much as the next guy, but after awhile it gets *old* if it intrudes into the cabin too much and easing the car out of the neighborhood in the middle of the night earns comments from the neighbors.

Sorry about that. From what I understand, even with a set up that on a N/A SVT would be overly loud, some people are feeling it's not quite loud enough with the SF kit on! I've never heard one, so this is just word of mouth but that was my impression.

As for the Z06, in my mind you don't need to justify why you would want one...the car pretty much speaks for itself.

My Bassani was louder than my current set up.

Why would you want a z06... I'm sorry I'd much rather go cheaper and get a 03 cobra and mod it, or go higher and get a viper. Corvettes just don't do "it" for me, except for late 50s models.
