You mean IAC? If so, they should be the same size. I took off some of the stuff in the way to get to the 2nd nut. Makes it easier.

Yup, that's it. I took off the cylinder shaped thing at the top of the picture that has 2 bolts going into the UIM, that way I could get at the bottom nut from that side.

I have never had to remove the EVR to get the IAC off. The bolts are pointed at the firewall.

Yes, they are. But what I am saying is that I took it off so I could position the wrench from that spot because I could not reach it from anywhere else.

This is interesting because I was wondering the same thing, but more for replacing the bolts.

Does anyone know the SPEC?

The IAC comes with two different styles...mainly because it puts a hose clip on one end of the bolt (top bolt close to hood)

I want to replace this one because the head is starting to strip...

Anyone have the spec, dia. etc?

Ok,you guys are right two bolts have the same size but in differen shape and EVR had to be removed to give me some room. After the cleaning the car runs pretty smooth now also the stalling problem is gone.
BTW IAC bolts are 8mm,7mm for EVR.
