Unless they are habitual offenders and you have a witness/good evidence, legal means could be less than worthless...inviting more troubles on your part. If it were me, perhaps they'd see the working end of an aluminum bat around the knees, ankles, and elbows. Something to keep 'em away from work/school and in need of serious repair, not unlike your car. You didn't say if you knew the perps....or if they might return for more in the event you have filed a report naming them. If you have, forget doing anything for a few months and watch your back. If not.....do everyone a favor. Just be sure you know whodunnit and serve it up cold, longer you wait less chance they will figure out which person they p'd/off so bad.
