Silvie finally went away back in April (I think it was April???). She lives down in NC now, not really sure how she's doing at the moment. The kid who has her now posts every once in a while. I don't remember what his screen name is though...
The T.A. is getting a few mods here and there. Got a cam swap to get rid of the peanut lift cam (stock lift was only .385!!!). She now runs a .465 lift, 280 duration cam to let the stock unported heads flow a bit. Home made CAI pipe to optimised TB and SLP P&P siamesed runners. Went from barely able to squeak the tires (AT and 2.77 gears) to smoking them through first and a squawk into second. Not bad for a red headed step child of an engine (305).
All told, less than 3 grand in it and it would run mid to low 14's and gets right at 20 MPG with my custom PROM tuning. Tuning this thing is a cake walk and costs less than $220 for everything needed to burn the new chips. I wish I would have had that for Silvie...

A Contour project may be on the horizon though. The T.A. is only temporary and will go away once the '05 Mustang GT comes out. I won't be the first on the block with a new GT, but I will have one by late next year if it's everything the show car promises. At that time, I would need to get a winter beater to be able to store the pony over winters. Enter said Contour here. As the sig says, looking for any year tour with a popped V6 as a starting point, but early SE would be ideal. Not looking to go over a grand for the car itself... if you know of any...
