I was curious if anyone has tried the 3.0L from a Lincoln LS in a Contour? I know it has been talked about but has anyone tried it?

Major mods to get it to work. Probably hardest swap.

Yeah, and its only been going on a half a year, right?

I'm still interested in seeing the results.

Still sitting at Terry's as of Mon. when I was there. He wheels it in, works a little and then pushes it back out. I just got finished with another car that had about 4k done to it so Mike's is next I think.

Can't wait to see the dyno's too
A complete waste of time & money IMO... There is NO real benefit to running the LS heads regardless of what some people "claim unfoundedly"

I can't believe Demon just said that. Hmm 230hp engine not worth it.

Half a year I wish. I bought my LS engine from Terry a year and a half ago. In his defense, he did just receive my turbo kit from SF last week. It took SF about 9 months to get the kit done due to the more involved packaging and the long waiting list they had when I bought the kit. I can't wait to bring my car out to Terry. Hopefully in about a month.
I agree with Demon. If I had it to do again, I don't think it's the route I would take for a couple of reasons: time and money. However, it should be a monster when it's done.
