For my 3L hybrid, I have:

2002 Sable based 3L
1999 CVST pan (though modified baffle and extra volume)
1999 CVST pickup, simply modified support bracket

Why would that be a problem? I was careful in modifying the pickup tube as to not alter it's height in the pan.

Installing engine in car tomorrow ......
