hhmmmmm, i dont know then. everything i see lists the 71-1770 is stock replacement and 70-1770 for adding aftermarket hu's. my svt has an amped stock hu. the 71 is identical looking to my stock plug. and the 70 plugs right into it perfectly. hope someone else can answer this for u then.
