Does anybody know waht size speakers go into a '99 mercury cougar, is it the same as Contour.
I have 6X8 pioneer speakers I want to sell them to my buddy with a cougar. What size are cougar spaekers, front and back. If they are different does anybody else with a Contour want these speakers let me know fast please desperate for money.

Crutchfield says that both the front and rear speakers in a 99 cougar are 6x8's and I would imagine that ford used the same speakers in both cars, so if the pioneers fit in you contour, then they should fit in his cougar.

The web site is www.crutchfield.com, when i put my speakers in i just sorta got 4 pioneer 6*9's the speaker holes had to be cut a little bigger but the sound comming outa them is awesome. But if my dad didnt do it for me....it woulda been to much work to be worth it.
