Well, I might try replacing it. If it was dead, though, wouldn't that mess up other things? Like I thought maybe always reset the system to default time. I'm still always learning, so I maybe I don't really know what I'm talking about.
However, the time when the computer is restarted every morning is the last time that I synched before shutting it down, which I do properly every time...
