My CSVT crosses the traps at the 1/4 mile track just barely after hitting 4th. A non SVT contour shouldn't have to hit 4th for the 1/4 mile trip.

Aside from that, this discussion is skirting around it in general, but doing a much better job of staying away from street racing than many other threads of late, which is why it isn't locked. Let's keep this one from going that way, shall we?




Good point.. We'll stay away from street racing stories. In my Si I used to have to go into 4th at the top of the traps as well, however the gearing is different between the GSR and Si trans, i believe the gsr has a longer gearing. i have raced a couple at moroso in WPB, and was not to impressed by them in stock form. they're supposed to go mid to low 15's but have yet to see a stock one do that.
the last time i ran at the track against one he did 16.0@ high 80's...
