well i understand that after you mod them the hp goes up alot while TQ goes up only a little. but hondas have very little TQ to begin with if they are the 1.6 liter civic motors. on a side note, turbos would only make take off times worse if they dont have the proper mods to accompany it, turbo lag...unless the turbo kicks in at like 1200RPMs which is possible, but not economical. and they would have to be running a Higher PSI to give them a decent launch IMO.
actually honda motors respond pretty well to turbos and spercharges. lag isnt really an issue due to the fact that the motor doesnt make any power untill it hits around 5000 rpms anyways, so reaching full boost at around 3500-4500 would be the best situation not 1200rpms. I cut pretty decent 60' with my Si. I think it was 2.0-2.2 on stock tires. and the best to date in my CSVT is 2.4.  But i'm glad the honda is gone..
