When i start my car hot the engine would be missfiring, sound like its running on 3 clyder and storng smell of fuel coning out the tailpipe,restarting didn't help untill I drive the car in missfiring and the engine cut itself off.The car could run all day without porblem as long as I dont turn the key off,what give  low on $ so I can't take it to the dealer,please give me some help!thank you!

V6 or 4?
Coil could need replacing, smell of fuel would be unburnt fuel leaving exhaust. Plugs would need to be changed as well.

Could be bad wires and or plugs.... I had a misfire and it was a wire.
You can check wires by placing a long screw driver into the boot and have it positioned such that it can arc to something metal (ie) engine block - um...don't be holding the screw driver when the car is turned over. If you get an arc then you know at least that wire is allowing current to pass to the plug.
Plugs are cheap.... as are wires...
But discharged fuel can cause your catalytic converter to overheat and breakdown....its a problem you want to fix quickly.

Check you fuel pressure on the fuel rail. It should be about 40 psi when you tip-in (ie. break torque). If not, suspect the regulator (or pump). When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

Model, engine, year, miles?
If this does not happen till 10-15 minutes after killing the engine, and restart is normal if the car has cooled down for an hour or more, check the ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor.
