Take a look at a TruBendz exhaust. Thinkmoto has one with a Magnaflow (I think) muffler and it has a nice tone without being very loud. In fact, both he and I think its not loud enough

If you're willing to pay a little more (and you should) go with Mobil 1 or Amsoil synthetic oil. I personally buy Mobil 1, but both oils are very good. Edit: Also, don't forget about the oil filter. Avoid Fram at all costs. Brands to buy are the OEM Motorcraft/Purolator (same thing, different labels), Mobil 1, or K&N. A good search of the Duratec Performance/Maintenance forums will yield quite a bit of info on the various filters and their benefits.

Contours come with a 130 amp alternator, which is enough to handle a multi-thousand watt system (from what people have said in the Audio forum). However, even my modest 400W system can cause some flickering becuase the battery can't keep up with the quick hits. A cap is always a good idea in that situation. If you see any flickering of interior lights or headlights, invest is a decent cap. You can get a high-quality one here.
