Question for the audio guru's, between 1.2 or 1.8 which of the two should I go for. The sub box I'm getting is from Sub Zone. TIA.

I assume both are sealed. If you've got the room, go for the 1.8ft^3. By the time you put in the driver and add some polyfil or insulation, the volume will be down a little. But I bet the smaller one costs less and will still make you

I do have the room for the 1.8 box and I'll be using a Orion XTR 500 in mono mode to push the sub. Thanks again.

Well, Dave says to use just some fiberglass insulation from Home Depot as it is cheaper. Usually, you want about half full of the polyfill.

The insulation works expecially well with lining a ported enclosure but works as well as polyfill in a sealed enclosure. Check what you can get for cheaper. Loosely pack the whole enclosure. To much will have a negative effect.
I think you'll be pretty happy with the results!
