Because my friend wants the WHOLE thing like it sits, all the parts, and the "new" dual-honed one I got from the salvage yard came basically stripped. The two (I guess their vacuum) hoses on the top were broke off, but I'll just use mine. If I'm going to install this new intake, I'm getting all new parts and I'll keep my stock ones for "back-ups". I even took the TPS off the new 60mm TB I got. I don't trust electronic or sensor-type parts out of a salvage yard.
