Sweet, Thanks for all the info. I might go w/ a 15" instead of the two 12"s to save space.

Sasmaster, one good 12" can save you lots of money and space.

However, it really doesn't matter what sub/amp you want because you said it won't be until next year. A year from now who knows what kind of products will be available. Just worry about what you are going to buy now.

That said, I'd go with custom components instead of Pioneer. More so to save money, but it would sound better too.

Thanks, what kind of components do you recomend? and what are the usual install prices for components?

I recommend installing them yourself. But if that's not possible, I recommend just going to your local stereo shop and dealing with them for prices and install. Usually, places will install what they sell for free, but charge an arm and a leg for carry in. Or if you have a good frined that could guide you installing them. It isn't too hard and mine took about an hour.
