Either one will work just fine. The speed bleeders are probably faster, but they stay with the car. The bleeding system can be used on other cars.
Personally, at home, I use a MityVac hand held vacuum pump. If you don't intend to bleed brakes on very many different cars then use the speed bleeders or MityVac.
I use Valvoline Synpower in my car too. Good stuff.
