The SVT pistons are different. They have slightly higher compression. On your 2000 the compression was raised from 9.8:1 to 10.25:1. On earlier SVT's, the compression went from 9.8:1 to 10.00:1. The crank and rods are the same as normal production but the pieces were hand selected. The block itself is the same. The biggest difference is in the heads and intake manifolds.
Check your invoice. The part number should be different. Call another dealer if you are in doubt to see if the part number matches up to SVT parts. Personally, I don't think it is likely that you got the wrong parts, but if you are in doubt, that is one way to check it out.
