Hey all, posted about 4 weeks ago about my 2000 CSVT that blew the engine on the highway. Got the car back yesterday, with very little yelling from the dealer surprisingly. Car had 37k on it, but I had an ESP, so I paid $100 plus the tow for a new engine. Car seems to be running fine at this point, I will break it in slowly, since it is a rebuild. One question, is there any way to verify that the dealer gave me an SVT block/crank/rods/pistons? I think the 2.5 blocks are all the same, but it is the internals that differ, in addition to the intakes/heads/cams. I just want to make sure I got what I was supposed to get. If I have to drop the oil pan, I will to make sure I didn't get screwed. Thanks in advance.
