your ohms are different too so keep that in mind, it will sound different not to mention its not in your trunk anymore so it won't sound as deep as in your trunk,we use ac/dc converters to power car stereo's but on low volume and mostly for troubleshooting not for boomin the dorm room , so don't expect to be shakin plaster off the walls.
