That stretch of rt80 is deadly... both PA and NJ side. The weather there is kinda crazy sometimes. Bad visibility and those stupid dots! Anyhow my girlfriend had a house up in Sussex county and it was really nice up there. The lakes are great (the ones that didn't dry up from flooding a couple years ago) Its hard to believe its NJ... its like upstate NY.
The weird thing about NJ is that you can go from a really nice expensive town to total crap....in like 2 miles and of course you can get anywhere in the state in "15 min"....to any mall in "15 min" and into the city in "30 min" Everyone from north jersey believes they are from NYC too. There are a lot of strange paradoxs like that.
This is too easy, I would like to hear some NJ people rip on PA.

Thats the best thing about this place. I love the provacy and the outdoors, but its nice to be able to drive away from it. I am actually 1.5 hours from NYC. but the nearest mall is about 30-40 minutes. Also i am only 1.5 hours from the shore and 10 minutes from absolutely nothing.
i considermy self a hick more or less, with out the crudeness and accent. But i wouldnt last a day in the city or even a subburb

Yup, like in my area - I got Princeton where the cheapest POS - like a log cabin - would cost at least 350K, and 10 minutes away is Trenton, the State Capital, where ya can buy a 5 bedroom house for 40 thous...

I am 55 minutes from Lincoln Tunnel (night time with a bit of violating the 65 speed limit) and like 45 minutes from Philla. So, I am more a PA guy, aint I?
