This is really a fairly common thing. Yours is a little deeper than most, but certainly not bad enough to require replacing the pads or rotors. My car has a rotor with a similar groove in the rotor right now, but not as deep as yours. Unless you are obsessed the the looks of it, just clean things up and get a lot more wear out of those brakes.
