The A/F meter should be hooked to it's own sensor as per instructions .

If it's hooked to the same O2 as the computer, this may be causing a problem.

Check the fuel pressure if in doubt. The pump, filter, and FPR can cause problems.

High RPM power loss can be the first sign of a CAT problem, IMRC will manifest itself around 3800 rpm.

Is the rear O2 as new as the front?

First i was getting this code way before i even put in the a'f ratio gauge. Also a fellow member hooked up the gauge for me. He has done several in the past. He hooked it up to bank 2 which is where i am having a problem.

About the fuel filter, i have changed it a couple months back. Fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator would casue all of the injectors to run lean. In my case only the 3 rear cyclinders were running lean and the front were fine.

Thsi weekend while taking apart the intakes. I found that one of the secondaries on the front were nto opening. I fixed that problem and now the car runs great. A whole lot more power but the code still remains. What gives?

All 3 front secondaries are operated from the same shaft, so it's not possible for only one not to be opening. Might want to clear the computer and see if the code comes back. Also try swaping the sensors just to make sure it's not a flakey sensor or connector. If it's not a sensor problem, I would suspect a leak on that bank somewhere.

thats what i meant by the whole front side of the secondaries compared to the rear near the firewall. the hinge that opens them was loose. I did reset the cpu and code came back. Instead of swaping sensors, ppl told me they were sure it was the o2 in the front so i replaced it and same thing and vacuum leaks have been checked for and none that neither or mechianc found.

This is getting confusing.

man u got me happy for a minute. I saw a new reponse to my post and i was like finally. I know its confusing that why i don't even know what to do anymore?

It werid cuz the front bank is running lean but the rear 3 plugs near the firewall are white. The secondaries were not opening , only half of them were rear 3. Car runs better but same code.
