you dont need anything SVT, but the SVT UIM flows the best out of all 3

you could do a basic 3L swap with just a 3L block, and the heads/cams/uim/lim/etc that you have now

of course that wouldnt make as much power as a 3L with SVT UIM and cams.

Not true, the stock 3L plastic intake flows the best. It is recomended to use that (not sure if there's clearence issues), but if you want the "stock" look, then you can stick with the 2.5 UIM.
If you use your 2.5 heads you will have a huge jump in compression, about ~11 to 1. You gotta have that beast tuned properly, otherwise *ping ping* BOOM! This is probably the most straight forward swap, but for Forced Induction, you probably otta go with stock 3L & 3L heads.

Nice work so far man!

there has been debate about this and whether the 3.0L uim is actually better than the svt uim. no dyno plots though to give any evidence.

Took your advice and used the 28.8k modem in my p120 computer, rather than my 56k one.

Nice pics, no doubt the reason you're not smiling is the forthcoming bill.

Quite the project. Good luck. Has anyone done a 3L swap to an ATX yet or will you be the first? I'm curious what power it will put down after the ATX to the wheels.

He'll be the second. A2 Steve was the first. Russell will be the first w/ a 3L hybrid though.
