I was finally able to take out the stock head but now I have no idea what the cables are. I think one of the connectors are the speakers and those I can figure out. The other connector has just too many cables I don't know what they are. Does anybody know what the color are? thanks a lot for any help you can give.

I will only say this once.....BUY AN ADAPTOR!!!!!! The come with instructions on how to install and you don't have to cut your existing wires.

Well, I don't mind cutting the cables and it would save me some money. With my new house payment I can't even afford a tooth brush. If any body out there has this instructions please e-mail them to me I will be very thankful. ocinos@aol.com

We could start up a collection for you. I know the pain of a house payment. Return your bottles for the deposit money, prostitute yourself...do whatever it takes to just buy the adaptor. The time savings will make it worth while.

I'd have to say to BUY THE KIT!!! It'll be the best $20 you'll ever spend. You might not be able to brush your teeth for a year or so, but your stereo will be hooked up correctly, sound great, and only take you 5min to hook up. If you've got good dental coverage, it'll be worth all of those cavities.

One other suggestion. If you do buy the kit(which i strongly suggest) Make sure if you have the premium sound that there is wire in the kit to bypass the amp. I bought a kit and it didn't have that wire in it.

I think I don't have an amp because I removed the glove box and all I found was a little box that I pulled and made a mess in my car (It was the remote for the door locks) Other than that I can't find any amp. My car is a 98 sport and reads STEREO on the door grilles. It came just with a cassete player. But I see no amp!!!!

If you don't see the amp, it means you don't have the so-called premium sound system. that makes it a little easier because you won't need the bypass kit.
