I'm with kermit on this. I'm 24 and it took me a while to get used to somehting as small as the Contour. Anything smaller and I don't feel safe anymore. Besides, if you know what you're doin you can have wicked fun with a big freakin car. I can take my old 75 Eldorado drop top around some tight corners almost as fast as i do with my suspension modded Contour. Granted theres a lot more body roll and the tires are screamin like frosty the snowman in hell, but you can do it lol. The Marauder is a cool ride, if I had the change just layin around, I'd get one for sure.

Did they ever make good on the talk about a 6spd Marauder? It had a lot of horsepower, but obviously the slushbox just didn't cut it.

ive had a few mr2's and as small as they are i always felt pretty safe in it. i felt more safe in my mr2 than i do in my contour. mr2 had better brakes way better handling and felt more safe at higher speeds even with the stock suspension. it took me a while to get use to my s.e. sport. but it is good to have a car with back seats now.

If I were to get a Marauder I would want This one

0-60 in 4.5, 1/4 in 13.1, and it still looks totally stock ... wow!

id have to say i think you are right on with that statement. My MR2 while it is definitly lacking in power could out handle my SVT anyday- and I have the crappiest mismatched set of all season cheap a tires I have ever seen - so imagine one with some nice 17's and some lets say Pirreli P-Zero Neros!!! Man it would be crazy around the corners!!!
