I need to borrow some collective expertise to impress the boss:
We have a research vehicle with 2 computers, 3 monitors, 2 video switches, 2 VCRs, and 7 video cameras. The car is also fully instrumented with sensors to provide information about the inputs. The electrical system is really mad. The car runs erratically, sometimes it looses some functions, and the battery goes dead all the time. All of the devices are 110 AC current (running through a DC to AC power converter and surge strips). My only thought is a dual battery set up with a bigger alternator. Any thoughts or suggestions? Anyone up to a challenge I need all the advice I can get.
