You need the kit to bypass your stock amp and the little radio removal tools that Ford makes you buy and that is about it.....I recommend wiring your new HU to the adapter before you have it in the car. Be sure to make the connections good and tight too. You don't want to have to pull the new HU out to fix a loose wire. It is very simple and shouldn't take very long. Just make sure you hook up the right wires to the right wires.
