Most of the info you are looking for is in the FAQ section under common problems. A new motor really isn't hard to put in, I just put my new motor in last week (from Bill Jenkins, which by the way will cost you $200 not $250). When you put the new one in, just make sure the sunroof is in the closed position (that way the sensor/switch in the motor does not get confused).
