That's the same HU unit I had. You got a little better price than i did (300.00). That's a great deal!

Pioneer DEH-10 HU (MOSFET 45) Pioneer 2-Way 6x8s in Front Doors JBL 6 1/2 subs in enclosure in the back...
NO rear door speakers (They just seem to collapse the imaging, anyway, unless you've got a true surround sound system)

I have a Sony head X-plode XR-C2300X, a Sony changer CDX-636, one Sony amp XM-1002HX for my subs, an old but good Phase Linear amp for my mids and tweets. Taking the power are a couple of component Lanzar mids and tweets on the rear deck. On the side I have pioneer's 6X8 on all four doors connected to the head power. A kenwood bandpass KSC-BP210 box with 10's in it. And I am still working on puting it all in. I will give pictures in future messages.

Pollo, I still have it. My car was totalled so I can't listen to it currently. For a substitute, get the Sony CDX-C90. I don't think anything compares to it for SQ. Do you still have the hookup at sony? would you like to introduce me?

It was my brother in law. He quit shortly after I bought my HU. One question for you. Have you had any problems with it yet? I had to have some work done on it because the remote wire stayed on all the time and would kill my battery....eventually the wire just went dead. I asked the repair guy what went wrong with it and he said all it was was a resistor. I just am wondering if it was a fluke thing or if it is a design flaw.

From everything I have read, they are pretty indestructible head units despite being one of the first with a motorized face. The only problem I ever had was my own fault. I was rear-ended while removing the face. I instinctively clutched my hand and broke the latch. Never did get if fixed yet for the fear that it might cost more than i want to pay.

Cool. I love it still. One of my favorite features that it came with is the ability to "angle" the face. I was also one of the first that let you change the color of the display.
