The new truck is a pig. I wouldn't want it w/o the 5.4L.
You cannot get a V6 or manual trans in the new body style yet. Heritage only. so, base price includes 4.6L auto.
My 99 F-150 at 69k miles when I sold it had zero squeaks/rattles when I sold it. That is better than I cna say about my 00 SVT Contour brand new. Ford puts money into the trucks vs. their cars, even specialty. There is a reason why the F-Series is the sales leader.
