went n test drove a crew cab 4.6L last night... had the weak ass gears but still felt pretty stout for a truck, the ride on it was akin to a passenger car, i was amazed, quiet, refined, great suspension work. the doors close on it like a bmw... no metal whack just a click the rest of the build quality seemed to be far above 'ford' quality too, it was quite impressive. i priced out a red 4.6L 4x4 standard cab STX w/ the 6.5ft flairside bed

Yeah, but it was probably the first or second time off the dealer's lot... if its still evoking those responses after 2 owners and 100k miles, i'll be impressed.

I saw one at a local dealership. It was black supercab with black leather interior... The most beautiful truck I have ever seen. Too bad it cost about as much as my Cobra did.

yes but you have to realize, this gets you nothing. [censored] wheels, manual tranny, 2wd, am/fm radio (w/cassete if your lucky) short bed, single cab...V6 most likely...sorry, i would rather spend the extra 6-9 grand and get a quality vehicle that i ENJOY being seen in.
