ok guys .. i read the ho to thing.. and i followed it to the T unfortunetly.. i think my car is deformed or some crazy chit cuz.. i cant find the PCV valve.. i have the heat shield off and i just changed the coolant so i decided once i unboldted the thermostat thing and i leaked everywjere i would jut bold it back i did.. and now i cant find the damn valve... i see 1 metal hose runnign a distance of MAYBE 1whole foot if ur lucky from this thing in the center of the front of the engine.. and it goes into the RIGHT side(looking from front of car) and im just so damn confused.. anyone have a pic? cuz my car is in pieces in the driveway(subaru is in garage) and i need it to get to work friday at 330 so uh.. HELP PLEASE.. last time it didnt start i bribed it by tellign it i would buy it something.. well i did .. ig ot it a pcv, breather filter and fuel filter.. and uh.. it's being a pain the the arse.. so .. any help is appreciated.. pics would be woorshipped. thanks

Follow the PCV hose back from the valve cover to a spot under the TB. It's right there, grey body, black tips, sitting vertically. Also connected to the pipe sticking out the side of UIM.

sorry, im not the brightest crayon in the box.. what is the uim? upper intake monifold?

Assuming you have Duratec on your Contour, it's right under the upper intake manifold (UIM for short) and the throttle body (TB for short). It'll probably be easiest if you take the air filter housing along with the stock air supply tube out to get to the PCV valve. It's possible to take change the valve without taking those other stuff off, but the rubber hose might be a little sticky and you risk the chance of dropping the valve.
