This is the Craftsman offset gauge like I have, but they do have to be offset of course. Just some plain gauges will do fine.
That looks like a nice feeler gauge set but you should also have a tool that can help set the gap. Most inexpensive gapping tools include something to help spread or close the gap. It is important not to pry the side wire open with something that puts pressure on the center electrode. You can damage the center electrode. More easily on some brands of plugs than others. The worst plug for this I can think of is a non platinum Bosch.
